To Realize the Value...

Maybe you have seen these words before in an email or somewhere else, but they are very true. Too often, we take life for granted. We take the little things we are accustomed to for granted. We take our family and friends for granted because we think they will always be there. Life is too short not to live happy and healthy. We all should take a little time out of each day to thank God for our blessings and hug our loved ones a little tighter. We should speak what is on our mind and let people know we care. So I will start with saying enjoy the words below, and do something different day, something you don't normally do. Call up that friend you haven't talked to in awhile, spend a few minutes with your child or children just talking to them, pay it forward and do something nice for a total stranger. Hope you enjoy these statements and realize the value of how precious life and all that it contains is. Have a wonderful day!

To realize the value of a sister or brother, ask someone who doesn't have one.

To realize the value of ten years, ask a newly divorced couple.

To realize the value of four years, ask a graduate.

To realize the value of one year, ask a student who has failed a final exam.

To realize the value of nine months, ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.

To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one minute, ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.

To realize the value of one second, ask a person who has survived an accident.

To realize the value of a friend or family member, lose one.

Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have.
