More Inspirational Sayings

I love to read inspirational phrases, quotes or sayings. I received an e-mail with many wonderful thoughts so I thought I would post that list. Here goes...

Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

Follow the 3 R's:
Respect for self
Respect for others and
Responsibility for all your actions.

Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.

Don't let a little dispute injure a great relationship.

When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

Spend some time alone every day.

Open your arms to change, but don't give up your values.

Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.

A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.

In disagreement with loved ones, deal with only the current situation. Don't bring up the past.

Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.

Be gentle with the earth.

Once a year, go some place you've never been before.

Remember the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

Looking through this list, I think each phrase offers some good advice. Many of these refer to love, family, friends, and relationship with people whom you have in your life. It is very important to realize it's these people in our life that are what is truly most important. Things come and go, people come and go, friends come and go, loves comes and goes, jobs come and go, but we all must remember to indulge ourselves in the current moment and never take life for granted. Life is too short and we must remember that each and every day. So live in the moment, take an extra moment to do something you enjoy, take an extra moment to play with your children, and don't ever forget to thank God everyday for another day here on earth.
